My baby will be mixed race.

Otis Matthew
Or
Ezekiel Matthew

What do you think?

Matthew is a family name we'd like to use but not sure whether to have two middle names maybe something like Matthew James ?

I have a nephew called Zeke which I love. Otis I'm not keen on though.

Ezekiel/Zeke is cool

Otis is ok too, but reminds of the Aardvark on kids tv in the 90s!

I'd go for Otis.
Otis will never confuse anyone, people will be forever asking you and him how to spell Ezekiel (if that makes any difference).

Anyway, I think Otis is better. Ezekiel is just a lot of name to pull off.

Ezekiel saw a spaceship in the bible...and that's the only good part of that entire book.

To be fair to the pp who queried it, 'mixed race' doesn't necessarily mean 'with Jamaican heritage'.

Personally I prefer Ezekiel - he's my favourite OT prophet - but I like Otis too.

I like Ezekiel and like others have said Zeke is a cute nickname. I know an Ezekiel who also has Jamaican heritage and the name really suits him.

I really really like both maybe slightly prefer Otis but only slightly! Great names op!
