Hello !

I love Jennifer and hubby loves Jessica, middle name prob will be Rose as my mums favourite flower.

I didn't want something super popular but somthing classic, is Jessica really popular ?

Your thoughts on which one please!

Xx

Both nice, both not so trendy now which could be a good thing!

I'm pretty sure Jessica is still near the top of the naming charts.

mum2be2boys · 13/09/2017 22:55

I like both, but prefer Jennifer :-)

SuperBeagle · 13/09/2017 23:00

I find it funny that Jessica is so popular in the UK. It's seriously dated in Australia. Very 80s/90s.

Jennifer is dated too, but it's dated to an earlier time, so I think it'd be more ready for a comeback.

So, Jennifer > Jessica.

Sophronia · 13/09/2017 23:19

Definitely Jennifer. Jenny is so sweet. Jessica is too popular.

DramaAlpaca · 13/09/2017 23:30

I love both. At a push I'd choose Jessica.

Abbylee · 13/09/2017 23:38

Jessica Rabbit?
Jennifer aniston.?
Jessica Rose (rolls off your tongue)
Jennifer Rose (too many Rs on top of each other?)

Love Jessica. Definitely a positive, snappy, feminine but punchy name, Jess is a lovely, friendly nn too. Funny it's always in top 10s as in terms of women I know barely any, but always slightly envious of their name if I do meet any?! Jennifer is very plain too me. Just totally "meh" conjures up nothing at all but just being ordinary.

euanthesheepiloveyou · 14/09/2017 14:23

Jennifer - Jenny definitely. Jessica is everywhere...and I really dislike the 'sic' bit of the name!

early30smum · 14/09/2017 16:25

Jessica for sure!

AmysTiara · 14/09/2017 16:31

Jessica is really common so I'd pick Jennifer.

Topseyt · 14/09/2017 16:33

I like both, and I have a Jennifer. She is my DD1 and is 22 now. She is usually known as Jen or Jenny to us, but all sorts to her friends.

Bigbustedbabe · 14/09/2017 17:00

Jennifer shortened to Jenna.
Beautiful.

Definitely Jessica, good nicknames Jess/Jessie
Jennifer has a 70's feel to it

Mollybear12 · 14/09/2017 17:38

Thanks so much for all the comments! I'm swaying more to Jennifer ! But will see when the time comes I suppose! 🤗

Thanks xx

Jessica Rose is nice.

I'm a Jessica and it was so popular (I am a 90's baby).
But I think it's not so common anymore.
I think Mia and Maya are the new Jessica haha

I like Jennifer and I think it's ready for a come back.

Jenna?

bridgetreilly · 14/09/2017 18:05

Jennifer!

dippypanda · 14/09/2017 20:13

Jennifer!
Jessica is very popular here and in my DDs year two class alone there are 2/3, plus a few more in across the school which is a small school of roughly 200 pupils.
