Hi baby due in December, so far we have no names we can agree on.
I have completely fallen in love with Louis, husband who has suggested nothing said it's a definite no. The more time goes the more I like it. Can you please Hepplewhite find a replacement.

I don't want something that's toooo popular however don't want something that's out there. Something on the traditional doh sode but not bland 🙈 clearly I have no idea what my criteria is lol.

My son is Noah and I love it. He was named before it was popular - so much so people even raised an eyebrow lol

Anyone got any ideas? I'm completely stumped.

Thank you. X

Have you considered Balonz?

pancakesfortea · 09/09/2017 21:54

My son is called John (although we call him by his middle name). I thought we would never meet another John under 30 but there was another one at his primary school.

Thank you for your suggestions.

I do like
Arthur - although hate when it's pronounced ArFa
Joshua - always been my favourite DH says No
Freddie - not sure I can see it on a man?

Maybe thinking about it I'm attracted to boys names ending in A or E sounds

I was going to suggest a name from the Bible and I see you already have a Noah! For classic names you can't really go wrong with the Bible. Some are more or less popular than others but most people should have heard of them.

I like Adam and I don't think there are many these days??

So the theme here is that your DH's only contribution is to veto names but suggest none himself?

In that case I'd say that so far you are done with naming- you've got at least a couple that you like, until he engages with th process and starts coming up with names himself, then Louis and Joshua remain your front runners :)

Applesandpears56 · 10/09/2017 17:20

George isn't well used since the royal baby and is lovely too :-)

mondler · 10/09/2017 18:15

Marcus
Joel
Elijah (I think that would go lovely with Noah)
Seth
Jethro

millifiori · 11/09/2017 07:54

OP if you like Freddie but can\t imagine it on a man her could be Fred, Frederick, Alfred or Wilfred and Freddie as a nickname. Any of those are classic names.

Doodle2907 · 11/09/2017 07:58

My 3 month old is called Peter and we always get comments on it!! It's not so much a cute 'baby' name but I think it's nice on a teenager/adult.

Doodle2907 · 11/09/2017 07:59

Good comments by the way, haha although I know it's not to everyone's taste!
