It's beautiful. I know a Juliette and she is also beautiful .

BikeRunSki · 03/09/2017 19:23

Yes.

DD was very nearly Juliet Josephine.

I know a Juliet known as Ettie.

MollyHuaCha · 03/09/2017 19:26

Love this name.

early30smum · 03/09/2017 20:23

One of my favourites. I prefer the spelling Juliette though.

Nuttynoo · 03/09/2017 20:26

All well and good until her school starts studying Shakespeare.

chowmeinchick · 03/09/2017 20:40

I don't really like it because of the nn Julie.

MikeUniformMike · 03/09/2017 20:53

Lovely but hate it pronounced Julie-ETTE.
Also really dislike Jules.

RupertPsmith · 03/09/2017 23:07

Love it, but bear in mind that Romeo & Juliet is taught almost universally in secondary schools in the UK! This may or may not bother you.

I also LOVE Julia.

lavenderbees · 03/09/2017 23:08

Yes I love it and nearly called DD it but was vetoed by DH. I still prefer the name to the one we settled on.

SirVixofVixHall · 03/09/2017 23:09

Beautiful I agree.

Highpeak · 04/09/2017 09:19

I have recently called my dd Juliet, we get lots of compliments on it. I actually asked the opinion of an adult Juliet who loves her name and always has done.

TurquoiseOwI · 04/09/2017 11:39

I quite like it Smile

Decaffstilltastesweird · 04/09/2017 11:53

I love it! Was top of our list if dc2 was a girl (think it's a boy according to scan). I would have used Etta or maybe Lettie or Lia for short.

glitterlips1 · 04/09/2017 18:14

Can't stand it sorry. I find it harsh.

Argeles · 04/09/2017 18:17

A lovely, romantic sounding name - as in Romeo and Juliet.

NoYouDontKnowItAll · 04/09/2017 19:22

Its too 80s for me but that's because of people I knew and a certain TV programme

If the Shakespeare thing isn't an issue and you like the name then why not

SoftBlocks · 04/09/2017 19:25

Lovely. Agree about Jules though.
