Twin girls - one down, one to go

We are having identical twin girls in a few weeks. We have decided one will be called Alice but we are going round in circles with the other name.
The shortlist is:
Beatrice (Bea) - DH really likes this but I've gone off it a bit
Olivia - sounds good with Alice but is too popular
Jemima - a bit pretentious?

Any suggestions please?

Tbh I don't think any of your shortlist go well with Alice.

How about:
Charlotte
Ellen
Anna
Laura
Amy
Clara
Zoe

I think it needs to be another two-syllable name.

Alice and Clara is the best combo!

Olivia no good because it's so much more popular than Alice that if I was twin Olivia I would feel resentful of my twin not being one of 10000 kids with her name.

Beatrice too rhymey with Alice. Jemima could work. Nice names OP, good luck x

mathanxiety · 27/08/2017 07:46

I think Alice and Beatrice is a bit rhymey, and the A and B initials would look as if you had a theme in mind too.

I really love Jemima as a name for Alice's twin. It goes well with Matilda too imo. Lovely names.

How about:
Matilda, Alice and Eva
Matilda, Alice and Rowena
Matilda, Alice and Theodora
Matilda, Alice and Tessa
Matilda, Alice and Stella
Matilda, Alice and Estelle

I love Beatrice 😊. But also think Charlotte or Isabel would work well.

Montsti · 27/08/2017 07:54

Emilia is another one of my favourites...
