We have a boy called Benjamin and a girl called Ava Rose... we are having another girl and are completely stuck for names.
I think it's harder when you have names to work with.
So far favourites are Eloise and Sienna although we can't seem to agree completely on either of these.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Sienna is a bit "suddenly popular and over done" plus I don't really like the sound..

Eloise is both unusual without being difficult and very pretty

isawahatonce · 25/08/2017 01:06

I like Eloise

FastWindow · 25/08/2017 01:07

If you're looking for something usable but not the same - No one is called Lisa these days. Popular in the 80s.
I also knew a Lita. It means Trust in Swedish. Very pretty.

Sienna: celeb, sorry
Elouise, I never got. Like a fancy Louise. She'd be called Ellie regardless, and Elouise when she did wrong.

My favourite name though which I never share is Linda. Means gentle in Swedish. You can have Linde as well. Same pronunciation. Ish.

SuperBeagle · 25/08/2017 01:10

Eloise is lovely.

Sophronia · 25/08/2017 02:26

Eloise

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 25/08/2017 02:33

Love Eloise

early30smum · 25/08/2017 07:47

Like both names but Eloise is more classic and goes better with your other children I think.

SarahJonesS · 25/08/2017 08:27

I like both and even though I prefer Eloise I think Sienna goes nicely.

Thanks for the replies, I also really like Elena but my DH thinks it's too close to Ava? He also thinks it's a made up version of Eleanor!?

Looking online, Wiki says:
Elena is a popular female first name in Greek, Italian, Slavic, Baltic, Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian. It originates in the ancient Greek name Helen/Helene. The variation "Elena" dates back to the 12th century.

onthewagonwheel · 25/08/2017 08:56

The current Greek version is Eleni which I think is lovely. Very few in the U.K.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 25/08/2017 09:03

Sienna seems to be more popular this summer, I have always liked Eloise myself but both sound nice with your children's names.

I was going to suggest Saskia and Zoë.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 25/08/2017 10:25

Ava and Ella sound nice together, though I do like Eloise, also Elise.

greendale17 · 25/08/2017 10:27

Lisa, Linda?????? No way!

greendale17 · 25/08/2017 10:27

Helena?

lenaleave · 25/08/2017 11:59

Eloise is very nice. How about Melodie?

Mclaren37 · 25/08/2017 20:02

Lisa and Linda are hilarious. Maybe if she were giving birth to a 45 year old hairdresser. Prefer Eloise to Sienna.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 25/08/2017 20:07

Eloise is beautiful. You could have Eloise Siena (if you are going to use the Si name I think it would be better to use the city of Siena spelling.)

Also Luisa is lovely too.

Dontrocktheboat · 25/08/2017 20:56

Prefer Eloise to Sienna too.

Like the suggestion of Eleni more though, I think Elena may have different pronounciations ( Ellena or Elayna, which might be a pain).

Twistandshout77 · 25/08/2017 23:04

Lily
Holly
Lucy
Maisie
Susanna
Rebecca
Mary

I think it's hard cos you aren't adjusted to seeing three names together yet - you are so used to two - you'll find the perfect name to fit don't worry

Twistandshout77 · 25/08/2017 23:06

I actually think Lisa could well come back into fashion in a few years! I'd definitely rather meet a little baby Lisa then yet another Sienna!
