We need to decide between:

A) Raphaela Rosa
B) Raphaela Sienna
C) Raphaela Winter

Thank you!

B

Roundandroundtheapartment · 24/08/2017 18:53

A
Too many syllables in sienna and winter sounds like a surname (love it as a first name but not after another name)

KnockMeDown · 24/08/2017 18:57

Of your choices, C sounds best. But for A, I think Raphaella Rose would sound much better.

Crumbelina · 24/08/2017 19:01

Round, I see what you and other posters mean about Sienna and the number of syllables. There's 7 before you get to the surname. Definitely food for thought ...

A

Roundandroundtheapartment · 24/08/2017 19:04

The Rosa connection is lovely and will be nice to talk about when she's older Smile

taxiforme · 24/08/2017 19:11

Raphaela can be shortened to Rae (Ray) X

DramaAlpaca · 24/08/2017 19:15

Any of them, depending on which goes best with the surname. I think I have a slight preference for A.

mmmmnuts · 24/08/2017 19:16

A - unless your surname starts with R too.

Helloyouitsme · 24/08/2017 19:17

C

MiniMaxi · 24/08/2017 19:30

A!

RosieTheRiveting · 24/08/2017 20:26

A

GoingRogue · 24/08/2017 20:29

A (but agree Rose sounds better, as you won't have two names ending in a then).

TwoKidsAndCounting · 24/08/2017 20:31

C.

TwoKidsAndCounting · 24/08/2017 20:34

Sienna is way too popular these days, you will spoil the beautiful first name, don't do it, it's a trend not a keeper

SunshineOutdoors · 24/08/2017 20:35

A

whyareusernamessodifficult · 24/08/2017 20:53

Definitely A

Crumbelina · 24/08/2017 21:10

Ooh, so Rosa is on 22, early favourite Sienna now on 13 and Winter on 19. Thank you all so much for the selections so far!

Round, I like the idea of talking to her about Rosa Parks when she's older as well. Smile It's a nice connection - my middle name is the same as my Dad's mother and he didn't even get on with her! Confused

That's an interesting point, Twokids - I've always liked the name Sienna but it is very popular at the moment. Will be interesting to see the ONS stats for it on 20 September ...

A, then C

Tastesjustlikecherrycola85 · 24/08/2017 21:12

C

TheScottishPlay · 24/08/2017 21:12

Love the sound of C, but the reasoning for A.

Growuphelen · 24/08/2017 21:16

Another vote for A.

BrutusMcDogface · 24/08/2017 21:24

I think A too. Sienna doesn't go with Raphaela and also is just a horribly tacky name imo Blush

If your girl is due in winter, that would be a lovely middle name but not if she's due in august, iyswim?

sosieso · 24/08/2017 21:53

C

Crumbelina · 24/08/2017 21:59

Brutus, she's due in September. I also love the name Autumn, but it doesn't really go.
