Just looking for some opinions and more suggestions as these are the only 2 we can agree on so far. Thank you!

I've met 2 lovely Elizas recently so definitely that!

Sophronia · 17/08/2017 20:27

Eliza. How about Elisa?

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 17/08/2017 22:33

Elise, very pretty, also Alyssa is lovely, or Estelle.

pilates · 17/08/2017 22:35

Both Elise and Eliza are very nice, Lisa is dated.

Yika · 17/08/2017 22:43

I actually like Lisa the best. They are all lovely names to be honest.

early30smum · 17/08/2017 22:44

Not at all keen on Lisa, sorry!

DramaAlpaca · 17/08/2017 22:47

I prefer Elise to Eliza.

Lisa is a very pretty name, but it does sound dated.

ceeveebee · 17/08/2017 22:48

I have an Eliza!

Other names we considered were Isla, Hannah, Erin, Evelyn

GreenTulips · 17/08/2017 22:48

Elsie is making a come back

Elise has had its day I think - know too many

greenmelon · 17/08/2017 23:01

I love Eliza

Alisvolatpropiis · 17/08/2017 23:45

Elise.

Eliza sounds like a maids name.

Xmasbaby11 · 17/08/2017 23:49

I have an Eliza.

Love it so much!

nooka · 17/08/2017 23:55

I'd choose Elisabeth/Elizabeth and then you have all the diminutive options (might need Elisabeth for Elise/Lisa and Elizabeth for Eliza but I'm not sure it really matters).

Elise is more elegant than Eliza, but Eliza is feisty. Eliza looks to be more on the popularity increase names.darkgreener.com/#eliza

lizzieoak · 17/08/2017 23:56

Elise is pretty, but I love Eliza!

EvelynWardrobe · 18/08/2017 08:36

One syllable surname? Go with Eliza.

Kazzawazza69 · 18/08/2017 08:57

Eliza would work better with a one syllable surname.

PussyPatches · 18/08/2017 09:04

We have an Izella.
Never met another and only ever heard of two (and a florist called Izella Rose)

glitterlips1 · 18/08/2017 17:16

I really like Eliza. Don't like like Lisa.

Imnotatypicalsausage · 19/08/2017 00:07

Eliza! Definitely. Classic, strong but pretty name

NC4now · 19/08/2017 00:09

Eliza. No contest, especially with a single syllable surname.

PanannyPanoo · 19/08/2017 00:11

love Eliza, I put it in the same bracket as Clara which I also love

Also like Alissa which is similar sounding but has a very different feel.

mummytwoh · 19/08/2017 05:22

Definitely Eliza.

I went to school with an Elise - her sisters were Chardonnay & Mercedes 🙈 I can't see it as sophisticated due to this family who were the exact opposite lol.

Forgetting that i think Eliza is lovely

ToastyFeet · 19/08/2017 07:32

I like Eliza for a little girl, but Elise for an adult woman, so I'd probably go with Elise if it was me.

Mrsknackered · 19/08/2017 07:36

Elise. I really really dislike Eliza.
I prefer Alice/Alys more though?

What about:
Grace
Eve
Erin
Ishbel
Caitlin
Robyn/Robin

fussychica · 19/08/2017 17:28

Elise. Loved it as soon as I heard it.
