As you probably know alba means sunrise in Spanish. Alma means soul so I prefer that as far as meanings go.

Im not keen on Alba or Astrid, sorry.

I have one from your list (the first one) it really is a lovely name. I never tire of saying it even when it's being guldered at a "spirited" 6 year old .
I know an Astrid, I didn't like it at first but it is growing on me, which strangely is the opposite of Alba. I thought it was lovely at first but not so much now. I do like Francesca, it floated about our list for a while.

Not Astrid, unless you're Scandinavian. The others are all nice.
