Thoughts on Jamie for a girl?

I like James but it's not a girls name so thoughts on Jamie?

I love it, had it down for ages as DD's name when I was pregnant but then DH went off it. DD is still bitter about it. I would have spelt it Jaime.
I know an adult with the name but she spells it Jamie.
