Due in September, no idea what I'm having, girl's name is picked, not a sodding clue what name I'd pick if I have a boy though Blush

Traipsed my way through many a website but please share with me your favourite boy's name so I can -hopefully- come across one I haven't seen yet! Thanks collective mind of mumsnet Wink

Sirius, the shiniest star in sky.
Gabriel, like the angel.
Caelus, a star.
Orion, a constellation.
Atlas, it's weird but pretty.
Aryan, means noble.
Dorian, like the book. I really love this one, sounds so elegant.
I also like:
Nathaniel, for an actor.
Caleb. I don't know, sounds interesting.
Aslam. Like Narnia, i know, but also means Lion.
Sebastian, my dog's name.
Luca. For me it's better than Lucas.
Gianluca. So beautiful.
Fabrizio. I think it's cute.
Stefan. Old, but nice.
I can't just pick one. Congrats for your baby!

Nadir? You can't call a child Nadir! It's a bit..negative.

NameChange30 · 21/07/2017 13:44

Yeah, "dearly loved" is so negative, isn't it?!

bridgetreilly · 21/07/2017 14:16

But... this is an English forum on an English site, not an Arabic one. Nadir's meaning in English seems to me a pretty important thing to know for anyone living in an English culture, regardless of its meaning in other languages.

lydiangel83 · 21/07/2017 14:33

What does nadir mean in English?! I've never heard anything bad about it - sounds nice to me!
