Remy?

DP and I both really like the name Remy for a boy. We haven't had an entirely positive response about it though! My mother in her usual PA way just said "well if YOU like it...."

In my mind:

It isn't a stupid made up name!
It's unusual but not too "out there"
Would work for child going into adulthood

Thoughts?

I know a few adults and teenagers called Remy.
They don't have any problems with their name!
I really like it and wished id called my DS this.

All the ones i know are pronounced Rem me. They are all males.

It makes me think of Romulus and Remus from Roman mythology. But I love it

I love the name Remy. My first thought is the boy from the book Sans Famille by Hector Malot, which I loved as a child. I remember crying while reading it. It has happy ending though.
