What's the difference?

Sophronia · 30/06/2017 16:48

Ada Rose without the hyphen

Sophia1984 · 30/06/2017 16:53

Do you want people to call her 'Ada Rose' as her first name? (Which is lovely!) I think you may need the hyphen if you do as it may be assumed it's a middle name otherwise.

17caterpillars1mouse · 30/06/2017 17:05

Ada Rose

Ada is beautiful

MollyHuaCha · 30/06/2017 17:15

No hyphen. Ada Rose for me.

butternutsquashtime · 30/06/2017 17:15

I love the sound of Ada Rose but not sure I'm keen on hyphenated names and I think I'd like the choice of Ada on its own. My other half prefers it hyphenated.
Is two middle names too much? Betty has meaning so don't want to lose it but doesn't sound right without Rose

NoCapes · 30/06/2017 17:15

No hyphen

butternutsquashtime · 30/06/2017 17:17

puppyfat well with a hyphen makes the name Ada-Rose without makes the name Ada with Rose and Betty as middle names

I really don't like hyphenated names. Complicated on forms and things too. Ada Rose Betty is lovely.

skyzumarubble · 30/06/2017 23:25

No hyphen

KoalaDownUnder · 01/07/2017 02:18

No hyphen.

Cavender · 01/07/2017 02:20

No hyphen

MiniMaxi · 01/07/2017 07:10

No hyphen. You can still call her Ada Rose if you wish!

Wsix · 01/07/2017 07:12

No hyphen. Definitely no hyphen.

EpoxyResin · 01/07/2017 07:24

Oh well, I'd hyphenate!

grufallosfriend · 01/07/2017 07:35

If you want Ada, then name her Ada Rose

If you want Ada-Rose, name her Ada-Rose

utterchaos · 01/07/2017 07:39

No hyphen. You can still call her Ada Rose without the hyphen. Two middle names is not too much.

Gremlinothefirst · 01/07/2017 07:41

Don't hyphenate, I find it a bit naff. Ada Rose Betty on the other hand is lovely. it would also give her more choice when she's older about which bits of her name to use.

LapinR0se · 01/07/2017 07:51

How do you pronounce Ada... Is it Ay-da or Ah-da?

butternutsquashtime · 01/07/2017 07:59

It's ay-da

OP posts:
Birdsgottaf1y · 01/07/2017 10:37

Ada Rose, no hyphen. I like Ada Rose Elizabeth, tbh.

butternutsquashtime · 01/07/2017 10:49

Elizabeth isn't the name that has meaning. Betty does.

anniebambammie · 01/07/2017 14:13

Love Ada. Love all the names actually! But I would say definitely no hyphen
