Allthebubbles · 28/06/2017 20:44

Two, one is 6 and one is 4.

missadasmith · 28/06/2017 20:50

one - NN Vince. He is lovely and mid fifties. Cool and underused name.

Familyof3or4 · 28/06/2017 22:24

emilybrontescorset · 28/06/2017 22:25

One adult and one 7 year old.

Batteriesallgone · 28/06/2017 22:26

Two babies. Definitely getting more popular. Lovely name

ScarletSienna · 28/06/2017 23:15

One. It gets a lot of love on here-I've seen it come up fairly regularly. I really dislike it so it always sticks out!

curlylocks101 · 28/06/2017 23:20

One lovely Vincent/Vinny/Vince in his 40s.

sadmonkey1 · 03/07/2017 20:33

One wonderful thirty something. One of the kindest, funniest and most headstrong people I have had the pleasure to know.

augustusglupe · 03/07/2017 20:38

One, he'll be in his 50s now x

Christmastree43 · 03/07/2017 20:40

I know a mid 50s guy through work - he is a gentle and sensitive giant so I have positive associations with the name ☺️

Mrsknackered · 03/07/2017 22:51

I have a great uncle Vincent in his 70's and he is honestly the grumpiest man in the world. But also one of the best.

I know a baby Vinny and I love it.

Shiori · 04/07/2017 01:25

I've got an uncle named Vincent! That's about it.

raspberryblush23 · 04/07/2017 01:53

I think I know 2 baby/little boys- both with Chinese parents.

Sharon1960 · 17/07/2017 05:18

I went to school with a Vincent and have always liked the name.

It's a very classic, traditional, uncommon and underused name.

It's centuries years old and was the name of many Saints so it's got strong Catholic connections. When I think of Vincent, I think of Vincent van Gogh (the song "Vincent" by Don McLean is also lovely) and Vincent Price.

Regarding its popularity, in the Italian community and in France it's fairly common but not in the UK.

Prince Vincent of Denmark may have something to do with it becoming more popular. Although it may be rising in popularity, I don't think it'll become common.

It's not too out there but it stands out.

I know one who is about 8 and they call him Vinny, I think it's great

ilivebythesea · 18/07/2017 14:26

I know one, aged 5 or 6. Everyone calls him Vinnie, which I like, apart from his mum, who calls him Vincent, which I don't like.

WaitrosePigeon · 18/07/2017 15:03

I know two. One is my husband and the other one lives in the same town.

I can't imagine calling a baby Vincent?! It seems so stern!

onemorecakeplease · 18/07/2017 15:05

One. He is so cute if a little strong willed!

joannegrady90 · 18/07/2017 15:09

One, hes 50 and lovely. Name suits him.

Can't imagine it on a child or baby though, very dated.

TheWeeWitch · 18/07/2017 16:05

  1. Both in their 50's. Both known as Vinny.

And not forgetting Vinny Jones also in his 50's.

JaydeHannah · 24/07/2017 18:21

Yes, a three year old! (Predominantly Vinnie)
I LOVE Vinnie for my baby boy but surname is Vinecombe (pronounced Vinnicombe) so its a no go, waaa!
