If it's gonna be Grey it should be Gray

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 24/06/2017 23:59

Alexander Wolf is silly.
Alexander Grey is dangerously close to Alexander the Great, unless of course that's what floats your boat.

Unadon · 25/06/2017 02:31

Between those two, I'd go with Alexander Gray (spelt this way).

Muumi3 · 25/06/2017 02:40

Alexander Wolfe. I feel like the e makes it more like a name.

CherriesInTheSnow · 25/06/2017 03:02

Agree Wolfe with an E is nicer and more name-y :)

Shock Hmm
Caulkheadupnorf · 25/06/2017 08:16

Does either name have any meaning to you? Did you once watch some wolves or is Grey a family surname?

GerundTheBehemoth · 25/06/2017 08:20

Is this for a middle name? Or are you choosing which of his parents' surnames he should have?

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 25/06/2017 08:28

There's a film called the Grey about a wolf.

If that makes sense.

EmmaC78 · 25/06/2017 08:34

I would go with Gray. My friends sister has just called her son Wolf and I have to admit finding it a bit odd every time I see posts on Facebook.

Figgygal · 25/06/2017 08:37

Gray

BertrandRussell · 25/06/2017 08:39

Or an actual human person's name?

greendale17 · 25/06/2017 09:24

Neither- give a proper name

C0RAL · 25/06/2017 09:26

Neither . Alexander is a perfectly fine name, choose a similar middle name.

MadameJosephine · 25/06/2017 09:28

Grey, and spell it whichever way you like

Joeybee · 25/06/2017 09:28

I'd use Gray, rather than Grey.
Wolf isn't too bad, but it's a brave choice.

BoraThirch · 25/06/2017 09:29

Grey is better than Wolf, and if you're going to do silly names then its preferable that its a middle name.

I did wonder if you were naming a baby or a husky from the thread title though!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 25/06/2017 10:23

😮 FuckyDuck 🤐😂
Alexander John.

RoseVase2010 · 25/06/2017 10:34

Alexander Meercat??

GinGeum · 25/06/2017 10:39

Is it for a surname or a middle name? I know a very posh Alexander Gray, but Gray is his surname.

daisypond · 25/06/2017 10:50

If forced to choose, I'd go for Grey, though I don't like either if Grey is just for the colour and Wolf just for the animal (as opposed to family/surname-type names, which would be OK). Grey is like calling your DC Beige, to me.

reuset · 25/06/2017 11:35

Yes, they both could be surnames. OP?

AlexanderWolfAlexanderGrey · 25/06/2017 12:28

Wow Hmm pretentious cunt? Thanks so much.

These will be middle names but come from our mothers' maiden names. These aren't their exact maiden names but are the closest for names sake as we don't want to use the exact surnames as they are very surname-y.

Grey.
