Still have ten weeks to go but DH works away and is finally home for a weekend so we're trying to get organised!

We don't know the sex of DC2, who will be a little brother or sister for our lovely Imogen, but have narrowed it down to a top 10 for both and then got completely stuck, so any votes or feedback would be marvellous!

Girls (MN Cecilia or Loveday)
Cleo, Felicity, Hermione, Iris, Isabella, Jemima, Juliet, Lucy, Nancy and Norah

Boys (MN James)
Alfred, Dexter, Edward, Felix, Fraser, Isaac, Percy, Rory, Rufus and Wilfred

Thank you!x

Norah Cecilia flows so well and is lovely and cute, but strong and not too popular. I really like it.

And for boys Wilfred or Edward are lush.

TempsPerdu · 25/06/2017 09:55

Lovely choices OP! Smile My vote would be for Iris, Nancy or Juliet Loveday, and Rufus or Rory James (love Edward and Isaac too, but they're just too popular for me).

Love Cleo and Juliet and Isaac.

NOT Norah or Percy!!

Cleo - This looks like a nickname for Cleopatra.
Felicity - Not a fan of this one.
Hermione - This name will forever be associated with the girl from Harry Potter IMO. It's not a bad name though.
Iris - It's alright.
Isabella - I love this name!
Jemima - Aunt Jemima of that pancake mix/syrup brand comes to mind.
Juliet - Love this name as well!
Lucy - I like it, but as with Cleo, it feels like a nickname instead of a full name.
Nancy - Feels quite dated, unfortunately.
Norah - It's pretty enough, but only just so.

Alfred - I quite fancy this name, though it is very, very popular at the moment.
Dexter - This reminds me of either the TV series or that cartoon character.
Edward - Nice, classic name.
Felix - As PP said, it reminds me of cats.
Fraser - Definitely not; it's the name of that congenital disorder.
Isaac - I love it!
Percy - I do not like this name at all.
Rory - Another nickname that I don't think works as a full name.
Rufus - Fantastic name! Works brilliantly with James if you ask me.
Wilfred - Feels like a very literary sort of name.

Wow - thanks so much for all the comments! Still can't make a decision but have had some great suggestions.

Just need to be brave enough to use Loveday if it's a girl!x

Errrm, Rory is not a nickname.

Decaffstilltastesweird · 25/06/2017 19:05

What on earth would Rory even be a nn for Confused?

sodablackcurrant · 25/06/2017 19:10

Lucy Rory. Lovely names.

bridgetreilly · 25/06/2017 20:37

In order:
Juliet Cecilia
Norah Loveday
Felicity Cecilia
Iris Loveday
Jemima Loveday

Felix
Isaac (my top choice boy's name would be Felix Isaac)
Rory

coffeemachine · 25/06/2017 20:40

Norah loveday (cool MN)

boys is a no brainer: Isaaac (by a mile).

HainaultViaNewburyPark · 25/06/2017 20:43

Nancy Loveday, Juliet Loveday or Iris Cecelia for a girl

Wilfred, Isaac or Percy for a boy.

OwlsinTowls · 25/06/2017 21:25

Juliet Cecelia & Fraser James.
