Don't say if too identifying obviously, but if you're comfortable to it would be great to know!

Monty Benjamin

It's a dog's name, apparently Hmm

We are abroad and needed something international (ds has French Irish German Spanish + English blood).

We named him after one of our favourite characters in our favourite film.

There aren't any in his entire primary school, let alone class. But there is one same-age in his swimming class of 7 dc!

DramaAlpaca · 21/06/2017 00:01

Why do you want to know? Most people wouldn't be comfortable sharing this information on a public forum. I'm not willing to share, but I will say that I still love their names and have never regretted my choices.

elQuintoConyo · 21/06/2017 00:01

(He doesn't have a middle name, if he did it'd be something mad like Peregrine). Grin

PensorHens · 21/06/2017 00:02

@DramaAlpaca expecting a boy so I'm really interested in what other people chose. I find myself looking at the birth announcements on babycentre from all the last few months!! Blush

Ah OK, I'll stop being suspicious then Grin. My boys' names wouldn't be much use to you anyway as they are older now. I still have a bit of an addiction to birth announcements though, I've always been interested in names.

YokoReturns · 21/06/2017 05:46

DS1 Alfred (Freddie)

DS2 Albert (Bertie)

Lemondrop99 · 21/06/2017 09:20

I don't think it's that strange of a question. Yes, on Mumsnet people are quite cagey about being "outed" but on other sites I've seen huge threads on this topic which people happily participate, often accompanied by signatures with names and birth dates!

I appreciate why people might not want to answer this, but I'd find it really interesting to see what names people actually decided on.

swimmerforlife · 21/06/2017 10:02

DS1 is Samuel (Sam)
DS2 is Elliott

Still love them, even if they are quite popular.

Ginandplatonic · 21/06/2017 10:05

Ds1 - Ray

Ds2- Harrison (harribo)

Oddsocksforeveryone · 21/06/2017 11:21

Haydn, Joseph, and probably Zephaniah or Zachary on the way. Dd1 would have been a Lucan.

AutumnGlitterBall · 21/06/2017 11:21

Matthew

MadisonAvenue · 21/06/2017 11:25

Tom and Joe. One is now early twenties, the other mid-teens. Those are the names that are on their birth certificates although people who don't know them so well assume that they're Thomas and Joseph.

Soubriquet · 21/06/2017 11:28

Connor

MattBerrysHair · 21/06/2017 11:29

Noah James and William Jude.

PicaPauAmarelo · 21/06/2017 11:29

I name change all the time, so I don't mind sharing.
Lucas, Mateus and Tomás. Middle names are Edward, Owen and Alexander but not in the same order.

Other considered names were Thiago, José (joe sound not hoe sound), Davi and Nicolas

ThornyBird · 21/06/2017 11:30
