I don't have many babies or toddlers in my circle, but for 13 yr old's peers - Dylan/Dillon, Oscar, Joshua & Grace, Evie, Isobel/Isabella and for 8 yr old's peers - Freddie, Charlie, Noah & Ava, Olivia, Amelia spring to mind.

Flamingoprincess1212 · 20/06/2017 15:13

In the school I'm in at the moment, (through outreach at work) a there seems to be at least two someone-maes in each class. Think Ellie-Mae/ Lily-Mae/ Gracey-Mae/ Rosie-Mae.
Willlow is becoming quite popular, and so is Morgan

And for boys, I see a lot of Archies, Cade/Cadens and Tylers.

Oscars, jaspers and Arlos as well as Islas, Isobellas and Cleos are common amongst the littlies at the 0-5 groups I work with!

Flamingoprincess1212 · 20/06/2017 15:14

Preschool/primary school age (and one or two little siblings of those):

Oliver, George, James, Jaiden/Jayden, Ashton, Spencer (this one surprises me!), Alex/Alexander/Aleksander, Harry, Ethan, Luke

Olivia (by a long way), Grace, Lily, Isabel(le), Kira/Keira/Ciara, Ellie/Eleanor, Evie

Not as many girls names because there are far more of them that are "one-offs!"

Sophronia · 20/06/2017 15:29

Oh and Noah and Ava as well. And lots of hyphen -May/Mae/Mai, -Grace and -Rose names.

Lots of 16-18 yr olds I deal with through work called Jorden's, Kieron, Dillon's, Callum, Conor, Cameron. (about 10 different spellings for each). Also Johnathan is very popular.
Girls - lots of double barrelled names with may/grace spellings. Lots of Ellie's, grace, Lilly, these seem popular among anyone under the age of 18.
Babies - out of a group of 10 babies under the age of 15months, 3 are called Thomas.

user1487941567 · 20/06/2017 16:09

Charlie
Harry
Alfie
Ben

Mia/Mya
Amelia
Evie/Eva

As other posters have said, it's always with a drawling May/Mai as the suffix. I find popular names very dating.

grasspigeons · 20/06/2017 16:13

In the 9 to 10 year old group
Boys - Dylan, harry, Josh
Girls daisy, lily, isabelle

7 year old
Boys - Oscar, Jayden, finley
Girls, ruby, Holly, evie

I've been amazed how few doubles there are of names in each class. There's sometimes 2 of something but never 3 and often there are a few across the whole school but nothing like the glut of sarah, Claire, Emma etc of my era

user1459464195 · 20/06/2017 16:28

Boys are named Oliver or Harry or occasionally Alfie/Archie/Albie.

Girls are Evie, 3 different pronunciations of Eva, Ava or Emilia/Amelia.
