Can't be Olivia, bad connotations

Love Odette, Odile and Oonagh. Also like Ottoline, but I'm guessing a child might be best amused w a mum who named their wee one Ottoline.

SuperBeagle · 17/06/2017 05:12

Olive and Ophelia are my facourites

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 17/06/2017 05:13

Yes, Oi! is a great name. Short for Oi, you! which would be on the birth certificate, of course. Opaline sounds like a cough sweet. I knew a very nice adult Ottilie who'd be 30ish now.

Dewey595 · 17/06/2017 05:22

Well I like Honoria which has a silent aitch, I suppose you could spell it Onoria?

Odell
Orly
Orfon (pronounced Orvon)

mammmamia · 17/06/2017 05:41

Oxana

BikeRunSki · 17/06/2017 05:47

Not Ochre!!! It's the waste metals that come out of minewater discharge and pollute rivers!

heateallthebuns · 17/06/2017 06:04

Orla or Orlaith (Irish names)

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 17/06/2017 07:05

We know a 2yo Odette. It is easy to say, doesn't sound like anything weird or rude. I like it. She is very confident and popular.

pinkblink · 17/06/2017 07:06

Olivine 😍😍

Dixiestamp · 17/06/2017 07:13

I know an Onyx.

MissBax · 17/06/2017 07:14

Ophelia is my fave 'O' name

youarenotkiddingme · 17/06/2017 07:32

Octavia

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 17/06/2017 14:09

My husband (unhelpfully) suggests Omigod, OMG for short. Grin

Calling a child Onoria instead of Honoria doesn't sound like a great idea to me as all those who know how it's usually spelled will do it that way on autopilot. I'd get very tired of the constant corrections very quickly.

On a more serious note, Orla is nice. I also know an Orna.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 17/06/2017 14:51

I know a new baby Odette which never gets mentioned on here! (except this thread obvs Grin) Really like it!

HoratioNightboy · 17/06/2017 15:08
