Fleur! God I love it, if I had another that would be my choice. So lovely

Ojoj1974 · 09/06/2017 22:12

Favourite- Margot
Really dislike- mirabel

NotMyPenguin · 09/06/2017 22:16

In terms of how the sibling names go together, I think these are the nicest combinations:

  • Gabriel and Rose
  • Gabriel and Lillian
NotMyPenguin · 09/06/2017 22:17

Gabriel and Mirabel are much too 'rhymey' for siblings!

blahthisistoohard · 10/06/2017 01:26

Rose or Felicity but I think Rose goes better with Gabriel. Some people have said that Rose is overused at the moment, I disagree- it is overused as a middle name but not a first name.

Least favourite, the one beginning with E.

Buntysoven · 10/06/2017 01:30

Gabriel and Selina sound ace

38cody · 10/06/2017 02:18

I don;t like any of them enough to use but if i had to chose from that list it would be Clara.

SomeOtherFuckers · 10/06/2017 04:06

Like : Margot, eulalie, Clara, Mirabel and Charlotte.
Hate: felicity and Lillian.
Anouk is interesting x

AngharadTheSplendid · 10/06/2017 04:11

Most like Anouk

Least like Beatrice

user1496604328 · 10/06/2017 04:13

Most- clara and selena

Least- margot (I just see magot)

SuperBeagle · 10/06/2017 04:15

Most (in order):

  1. Lillian
  2. Rose
  3. Charlotte
  4. Clara

Least (in order - ending in most disliked):

  1. Mirabel - too close to miserable, and too frilly, but I don't like "bel" names in general
  2. Anouk - a nook and cranny
  3. Selena - Gomez
  4. Fleur - sounds phlegmy in any accent that isn't French
  5. Margot - maggot, and even once I get passed that, I don't like it. I have an aunt named Margot and she's frumpy and awful; chainsmokes, wears clogs and hasn't had a new hairstyle since the 80s.
  6. Eulalie - ukelele.

No, Charlotte isn't too princessy. It's a common enough name to not have any strong association.

Joeybee · 10/06/2017 04:24

Margot, Charlotte and Beatrice for sure - all lovely names. Charlotte's too popular now, and Beatrice is becoming a bit trendy, so I'd probably pick Margot.

Crunchymum · 10/06/2017 09:10

Not a fan of the name Beatrice. It's quite marmite (even on this thread) as it seems to be either one of a posters favourite or least favourite name.

I like Selena and Rose most and Beatrice and Eulalie the least.

Thanks for all the responses. Just to throw another one in there, what do you think of Camille? It was my Dad's middle name (it's a unisex French name) & he passed away this year so would be nice to use it. Maybe just as middle name, though? Not sure how well it'd work as first name in U.K.

MrsJayy · 10/06/2017 17:08

Camille is honestly lovely i think i prefer it to your others ☺

NotMyPenguin · 10/06/2017 17:25

Camille is beautiful and goes with Gabriel too! Love it.

ThreeForAPound · 10/06/2017 17:55

I love Felicity and Rose.

Really dislike Fleur and Margot.

CruCru · 10/06/2017 21:05

I love Camille. I also really like Felicity, Lilian (although my natural shortening for it is Lil) and Margot.

buttercup54321 · 10/06/2017 22:40

Charlotte Rose.

ohlittlepea · 10/06/2017 22:42

Least Eulalie reminds me of ukalele

LeoDeJaneiro · 10/06/2017 22:44

Flora, Clara and Felicity are all winners in my book.
