Just lovely and seems particularly apt for the times we're living in.

Lovely - is my dd's middle name.

Mrsknackered · 05/06/2017 14:25

I really like it. I know one, she's a peach.

LorLorr2 · 05/06/2017 14:29

It's sweet and old fashioned, thumbs up.

I know one. It's a gorgeous name.

MammieBear · 05/06/2017 14:32

Lovely name for a little girl ♥

Epipgab · 05/06/2017 15:21

Lovely name. Would be nice to see it as a first name as I think it's probably more popular as a middle name.

29Palms · 05/06/2017 15:57

I don't care for it. It sounds a bit like a hiccup.

FreeNiki · 06/06/2017 14:28

lovely and unusual

Lemondrop99 · 06/06/2017 14:45

I like it

sycamore54321 · 06/06/2017 17:16

Really dislike I'm afraid. It somehow invites me to think of "hope vs reality" and somehow implies a slight on the name-owner "we hoped she would be ..." A name that meant hope would be lovely, actually using Hope? Nope.

Northgate · 06/06/2017 17:29

Love it. I wanted it on our girl's shortlist.
But DH vetoed it because "it's a word, not a name" Hmm

orangeglove · 06/06/2017 18:25

Timeless, great on kids and adults, beautiful meaning, not overly popular but known. What's not to like?

Herestonevergrowingup · 06/06/2017 19:23

One of my favourites names ever

FourForYouGlenCoco · 06/06/2017 19:27

Absolutely love it! Was on our girl shortlist. Pretty, classic, not overused, lovely meaning. Plus I knew a little Hope who was just the cutest thing ever (associations can make or break a name!)
