Julia rather than Juliet would be easily my first choice.
Failing that, Charlotte.
Emma is a bit drab for me.

James just squeaks in ahead of Christopher, because I find the full name rather ungainly. But I like all the short forms.
I don't like Peter at all.

I loved Charlotte (Charlie or Lottie) until the Princess came along. I wouldn't use it now because I'd hate people to think I named my DD after her. (She's a lovely little thing & I'm fond of the Royal family, but not to the point of naming my children after them!)

I don't like Juliet.

So I guess Emma. It's just a bit 1980's.

Definitely not Peter.

Not Christopher.

I guess James - but I really don't like that either.

I hadn't thought of them as 80s names tbh, I just rhoigtof them as Classic. That said, I'd personally rather go with 80s than modern. At least I know how Peter, Emma and Christopher have dated. Who knows which modern names are going to be the Keith, Dwayne or Sharon or the future? (No offence to people with those names)!
