Dd3 is due any day, we won't name her till we meet her but I'm struggling to even get a shortlist.

By unfussy I mean something not too out there, not made up and not a nickname.

Thanks!

Alice, Anna or Emily.

Also like Daisy - not generally into flower names but daisies are tough, self sufficient little flowers as well as pretty, not ethereal and vulnerable and short lived like some flowers that can be names (overthought names when naming DD, though she isn't a Daisy in the end... :o )

Tertia.

(That was a joke, by the way. But I just met one, and she was like a cooler Tilda Swinton.)

Nan, Cora, Eve, Faith, Grace, Mara, Molly, Nora, Martha, Eleanor, Susanna, Maud, Ursula, Mary, Polly, Enid, Ellen, Meg?

Ones we thought about: Anna, Mary, Martha, Faith, Evelyn, Rachel.

Anything in the top 20 in 1945-1970? That was a peak unfussy names period.

I'm a Clare.I hate it, but. I think it would sound very vintage and unique on a baby

Thanks all. Lots of lovely names!

Our shortlist so far is Tamsin, Anna, Anya and Lyra. Today I'm leaning towards Lyra but will probably have changed my mind by tomorrow.
