Who is right!? We have a daughter named Sadie and DD2 is due any day. We love Rose. We also like Rosie but think better as a nickname. DH thinks it has to be Rosie though as we have a Sadie. I'm right, aren't I!?

I strongly disagree with your DH.

The pp who said Sadie and Rosie together makes both names sound twee, is bang on. Sadie and Rose together sound elegant. Sadie and Rosie together sound cutesy and twee.

I love Sadie and Rose as separate names anyway. Rosie is nice too, but I agree with you that it works better as a nn.

He's wrong!

Sadie and Rose is much better. You can always use Rosie as a nn while she's small

Rose and Sadie definitely go better than Rosie and Sadie. Rosie and Sadie sound too cutesy together. Plus I agree that Rosie is better as nn than a name in its own right.
