would like some honest opinions, and possibly some similar sounding suggestions! and have you ever heard it before? Smile

I like Aria, or Arianne :-)

Me4You · 11/05/2017 23:27

I know of one, she must be about 5. I'm afraid I think it's not nice - so vulgar of me but I do hear "hard on".

CricketRuntAndRashers · 11/05/2017 23:46

I personally don't really see how one could hear hard on.

Ahr =/= Hard
dən=/= on

I'm not trying to attack anybody. But I personally wouldn't have thought of that. I'll ask DH tomorrow whether he (being English) also hears "hard on". (I'm genuinely curious now...)

Lovely Flowers

HurricaneHalle · 11/05/2017 23:54

Arden Grange is a brand of dog food so it's a no from me.

SuperBeagle · 11/05/2017 23:59

I like it, but prefer Arwen.

Pallisers · 12/05/2017 00:04

Pretty.

I know both an Arden and an Auden (and also a Larkin - when I asked was it for the poet they looked at me blankly).

Also know an Ardith which I think is nice.

VerySadInside · 12/05/2017 00:12

Dog food

WyfOfBathe · 12/05/2017 00:28

I don't love it. It sounds quite masculine to me and it's the name of a forest (and a university, according to google). What about Arlene or Adrienne?

Blanky · 12/05/2017 17:54

Ardis?

AngelicaSchuylerChurch · 12/05/2017 21:05

Audra? Audrey?

HildaOg · 13/05/2017 00:24

Audrey
Astrid
Ada
Adrianna
Adele

My first thought was the brand Elizabeth Arden. It's not a bad name but it could be associated with a few things which perhaps you'd prefer it not to be.

FizzyGreenWater · 13/05/2017 10:53

Nooooo.

'Ard-On'

also, more of a masculine name to most people I think.

There are so many other similar better options listed above!
