DP is Polish, and we would like a Polish name. The only one we can agree on is kazimierz, but I think this might be too difficult for most people to pronounce!

There are a few that are ruled out because of family, but ideas gratefully received!

I would use Kazimierz. It's a gorgeous name.

Don't water down your DH's heritage.

MadameJosephine · 06/05/2017 11:00

How is it pronounced OP?

Mrsknackered · 06/05/2017 16:43

I have a Roman, your PIL's have great taste Grin

user1494738890 · 14/05/2017 06:43

Cześć!
Question: does your husband have any connection to Kazimierz!? I am from Kazimierz (Kraków)! I never meet any one from there
Sorry for that excitement!
I don't think Kazimierz is hard to pronounce once it is heard, but I am not the best person to ask.
I have always liked Gerwazy and Prym, and I have a Rafa for more 'unusual' names.
But I love Kazimierz!

heateallthebuns · 14/05/2017 07:22

Well it's a bit hard to pronounce for me I admit! I've never heard it before. But it's a lovely name and it's your heritage. Plus kaz or kazi is very to pronounce and spell if that's a nickname that goes.

heateallthebuns · 14/05/2017 07:23

Easy

ButterBeanSoup · 14/05/2017 11:52

User - he has an appartment in Kazimierz!

MyBreadIsEggy · 14/05/2017 11:58

My brother's name is Mariusz Smile
My choices for my son were Lukasz and Dominik - but we put all our favourites in a hat and neither of those were picked out! So my son has a beautiful Scottish/Irish name instead

reallyanotherone · 14/05/2017 12:04

I know a wee boy named Mikolai. Love it.
