Aoife is lovely.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 29/04/2017 20:07

Isla.

FeedTheSharkAndItWillBite · 29/04/2017 20:13

Isla: The only one I personally really don't like, tbh. Sorry!
Megan: Love it!
Aoife ( Irish name prounounced EE-fa): very nice
Chloe: very nice
Verity: also very nice. But it is a somewhat "weighty" name for a child in my opinion.

Tw1nsetAndPearls · 29/04/2017 20:16

Verity.

Megan is my least favourite

Claramarion · 29/04/2017 20:25

Chloe is coon Isla or Megan

Littlepond · 29/04/2017 20:26

Oh please choose Verity! What an amazing name!! Love it.

Littlefoxy · 29/04/2017 20:29

I love Isla as a name. It was my top choice. We didn't pick it as we wanted something unusual and it's very popular. So maybe depends it that's an issue for you. I also like Chloe

Chathamhouserules · 29/04/2017 20:31

Verity! It's lovely and less commonly used. Great for any age and classy! Sounds like a high achiever (not that that is really important!) but nice person at the same time.

BikeRunSki · 29/04/2017 20:36

Verity by miles

llangennith · 29/04/2017 20:40

Megan is ok but isn't that unusual. I know several of primary school age. Verity is nice, and Isla.

Murine · 29/04/2017 20:58

Verity, it's a lovely name and not often used

user1492691073 · 29/04/2017 21:10

I like the name Isla! :)

Isla is over used
Chloe is whiny
Verity sounds harsh to my ears
No one will ever be able to spell aoife

Megan I guess but it's a bit 90s

I.e. I'm not keen on any although dd2 was almost Isla 12 years ago before it took off.

ChippingInLovesWoollyHugs · 29/04/2017 23:46

Chloe

It's not whiny, it's lovely.

I like Meg An, but not Mee gan. So I'd never use it
I've never met a Verity that wasn't a precocious little brat
Isla wayyy too over used
Aiofe not in England, way too difficult.

RJnomore1 · 29/04/2017 23:52

Every Chloe I've ever known has been a whiny little princess chipping so I may be somewhat prejudiced to it!

Pemba · 30/04/2017 05:15

Aoife or Chloe. Both lovely!

The others are fine, but Verity is a little harsh sounding (and seems to be 'flavour of the month'), Megan a bit dull, as is Isla (which about every third female baby seems to be named at the moment).

MarcelineQueen · 30/04/2017 08:08

Aoife by far - I genuinely don't see the problem of having to spell a name to people. Mine is a top 10 classic from the 80's and i have to spell it almost on a weekly basis to thick people

The others are boring or cats names

Kittykatmacbill · 30/04/2017 09:06

Megan by a long way.
The others are all a bit meh, apart from Isla which is so over used...

pilates · 30/04/2017 09:48

Megan

Thank you everyone for your feedback. Much appreciated :)

Megan

Mollie85 · 02/05/2017 17:58

Love Isla - but v popular as pp have said
Chloe - sounds a bit dated to my ears and a bit "meh"
Megan - love this
Aoife - lovely - if you are concerned about the spelling perhaps anglicize to Eva?
Verity - I really want to like this, but to me it's akin to the name "Harriet"- something makes me find it rather clunky and ungainly...

My opinions only, I am sure your lovely dd will wear whatever name you give her well Smile

Brighteyes27 · 02/05/2017 18:01

Oh I like the sound of Verity never heard of one before unusual and not forced.

PrincessOnTheInternet · 02/05/2017 18:02

Chloe. Biased, though. ;)
