Names that made you think wtf?

My friends Mum recently had a baby and couldn't think of a middle name for her newborn girl. The Mum has a teenage sister, so whilst walking to the birth registration place, she let her pick the middle name just so her daughter had one. Turned out to be a normal name but what a way to pick a name.

There was a boy in my year who's middle name(s) were Ryan Giggs.

Anyone else come across strange reasons/funny names that made you wonder why the parents would want to put there child through it? Grin

Oh my teachers! We had a few good ones. My form tutor was Mr Pratt, always giggled at that. Two Richard Heads (one PE teacher and I don't know what the other taught but he taught me general studies in college and went by Dick).
I've heard of a Mrs French who taught French too.

I used to work with somebody called Helen Heaven. Heaven was her married name but she kept it after divorce because she liked the effect.

CactusFred · 17/04/2017 22:58

When working in a call centre I spoke to a customer called Willie Cumming.

YolandiFuckinVisser · 17/04/2017 23:01

Oh yes, and DS has a friend who is known as Rizzi but her actual name is Rizla. Teenage gossip says her mum is Virginia and her sister is Amber but this remains unsubstantiated.

twinklestar2 · 17/04/2017 23:01

I know a Jo King too. It was her married name.

twinklestar2 · 17/04/2017 23:01

Riz Latif who reads the news on BBC1 always makings me laugh.

twinklestar2 · 17/04/2017 23:01

Makes me laughs

NickMyLipple · 17/04/2017 23:02

I know someone called Becky Leckey - she took his name when they got married! I had a PE teacher called Mrs Balls, a music teacher called Mr Bumhole (pronounced b'yew-mol-é) a maths teacher called Mrs Longbottom and a head of year called Mrs Pommefret. Head teacher was Mrs Head (Mary Theresa, making her MT Head).

Couldn't make it up!!!

CuppaTeaTeddy · 17/04/2017 23:02

@YolandiFuckinVisser OMG!! I've just spat my juice everywhere. This is the best!

Can't believe some of these, surely they can't all be real but good god they're so funny!
