That's it really... middle name would be anne!

I like strong feminine names... any more?

Charlotte Anne, by a mile !

WellyMummy · 05/04/2017 22:41

Overall I think Charlotte is more popular but probably not among her would be peers. I didn't choose it as I wanted my daughter not to share her name with several other girls in her class.

I prefer Clara, but I'm very biased! She's the only one in school, but several of her friends rhyme. I think it's more prevalent with younger girls.

DramaAlpaca · 05/04/2017 22:43

I prefer Charlotte, but as pps have said it doesn't work with Anne.

Maeve is lovely too.

Sophronia · 06/04/2017 01:13

I like Maeve.

reuset · 06/04/2017 01:15

Yes to Maeve.

Clara's on the rise but still nowhere near as popular as Charlotte. It's just inside the top 100 and Charlotte's much higher up. Both gorgeous.

I prefer Clara, Charlotte is also very nice.
Dislike Maeve.

BasicBetty · 06/04/2017 09:56

Clara definitely - beautiful name.

Redpramlady · 06/04/2017 11:05

I'm struggling with any girls name to be honest lol
Have a boys name lined up and I love it
I really want to love a girls name too

Dd is Elodie
My sons name also begins with e
Not intended juts loved both names!

Love Maeve. 2nd preference would be Charlotte, shortened to Lottie. Cute! Not so keen on Clara.

Redpramlady · 06/04/2017 11:14

Other names I like

Polly (friend has used it)
Holly ( can't use)
Anna (dh not keen) maybe annalie
Alice (can't use)

Our surname is one syllable
I like in uncommon but not too far fetched even thou the above choices are classic

My sons name is unusual but easy spell say and old English

We can use long syllable names because of our surname

My favourite ever name was pippa for dd then I realised the European slang meanings and named her Elodie who suits her brilliantly

And I still love it boohoo!

Elodie and Philippa sounds lovely.

Don't know any Claras, but like the name. Or as someone else said, Carlotta. Or Carla/ Cara?
