Lemondrop09, I'd go for the original (Elliot) as I do prefer original spellings Blush

Thanks for even more suggestions!

Alexander as in the great.

Spend a while saying different things using your shortlist- call them to come in for dinner, tell them off, praise them, all sorts of different sentences you might say using their name and see which sounds natural to you.

Saul. I never understand why it is one letter different to Paul which is so common and yet hardly
ever heard of. It means ''longed for' too so nice meaning. As it was St Patrick's yesterday Saul Patrick S..... to beak up the Ss. Also love Gabriel another much underused name for some reason Saul Gabriel S.....

drigon · 18/03/2017 01:47

I like Dylan, Ben or Alex.

Aquamarine1029 · 18/03/2017 02:32

Hudson Charles

Finn would be appropriate as Fin McCool is in a famous Irish legend ( It being StPatricks Day) what a cutie I'm backing Eliot Finn - it is perfect!

Shockers · 18/03/2017 06:58

Saul was renamed Paul in the bible, after he had stopped holding the coats for people who wanted to stone other people. I think traditionally, people prefer his 'reformed' name.

(I may have just completely made that up... it's been a while since I had my nose in a bible!)

Congratulations! What a beauty. I think he'd suit any of these:

Cormac
Peter
Elijah
Micah
Noah

GirlElephant · 18/03/2017 08:45

Elliott with either middle name would be lovely!

GirlElephant · 18/03/2017 08:46

Fortunacookie Freddie is beautiful

Falafelings · 18/03/2017 08:48

Lawrence

Pieinatin · 18/03/2017 08:58

He looks like a Samuel or Zachary to me. I just showed ds (7) and he said "he should be a Louis James just like me!" Not biased there son Grin

duxb · 18/03/2017 09:03

He is gorgeous.
Oscar jumped out at me

EverythingEverywhere1234 · 18/03/2017 09:07

Oh congratulations, he's absolutely gorgeous, the little love!

Edward George or Charles William Albert (family name... all three together!) or George Maurice (maurice is another family name)

DustyOwl · 18/03/2017 09:15

He is beautiful, he looks so happy!

So...

Sammy came to mind first

I really want to squish that baby's cheeks! So cute it's just ridiculous!

dotdotdotmustdash · 18/03/2017 13:14

Leo, Jude or Ben. He is lovely and should have a strong, masculine name to go with his lovely strong hair colouring :-)

Nancy91 · 18/03/2017 13:17

I think he's a Harry! Oh and Aaaawwwwww!

madmoon · 18/03/2017 13:21

EzioAuditore · 18/03/2017 13:22

Reuben and Rory were the two names that sprang into my mind, but I do like Elliot!
