Kieran (prefer Ciaran spelling though)

mum2be2boys · 15/03/2017 21:42

Another vote for Kieran :-)

Purplebluebird · 15/03/2017 21:58

Kieran :)

1horatio · 15/03/2017 22:03

I really like Cameron. It's a lovely name :)

MelinaMercury · 15/03/2017 22:07

I prefer Cameron as a name but Kieran goes better with your surname.

therootoftheroot · 15/03/2017 23:20

cameron

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 15/03/2017 23:24

Cameron.

user1489672271 · 16/03/2017 13:58

Kieran... Cameron is still nice though!

Wolfiefan · 16/03/2017 13:59

Kieran goes better with your surname. Easier to say together.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 16/03/2017 14:31

Kieran Michaels just rolls off the tongue

BarInSpace · 16/03/2017 16:41

Kieran (preferably with a C)

MiniAlphaBravo · 16/03/2017 16:43

Another vote for Ciaron if that's an option Smile

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 16/03/2017 16:43

Cameron

Rockaby · 16/03/2017 16:55

Cameron

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 16/03/2017 17:00

I like both but I know a Cameron Michael so am compelled to vote for that. Wink

teabagsmummy · 16/03/2017 17:07

We thought about Cameron but it had a strange meaning think it was bent nose?? It's a lovely name though

Footle · 16/03/2017 20:45

Doesn't the name Cameron have negative connotations for anyone except me?

MaisyPops · 16/03/2017 20:49

Footle
Does for me too. Must just be the people we know called Cameron.

Personally I like Ciaran over Kieran too.

have to be careful saying you judge or have assumptions based on your experiences with names because theres another thread where people claim they never do it and people who do are mean

Do you mean, it makes you think of David Cameron? First thing I thought of!

BarInSpace · 17/03/2017 09:51

Yes, our ex-PM.

lljkk · 17/03/2017 10:00

2 syllables in forename does work better, but both are good names.

EasyBoySleazyJet · 17/03/2017 10:11

Both are nice but Cameron is just too much associated with David Cameron now and that ain't a good thing

WankersHacksandThieves · 17/03/2017 10:59

I prefer Ciaran but Cameron is nice too. Both go well with your surname.

I'd not associate Cameron with David Cameron at all, probably because I'm in Scotland and it's a popular first name and has been for many years so I associate it with the Camerons I know rather than DC.

Ciaran means the little dark one - I have a Ciar instead as he wasn't and isn't little. We have that name as when it came to the last two names on our list, DH wanted Ciaran and I wanted Keir. We compromised.

ButterflyOfFreedom · 17/03/2017 13:44

Kieran - but prefer the Ciaran spelling.

Cameron is nice too though.

Pencilvester · 17/03/2017 13:52

I like Ciaran better than Kieran. Cameron is a bit too prime ministery.
