Noah, definitely.

Joeybee · 11/03/2017 01:37

Much prefer Noah, but Simon is nice too, and not as popular.

Gummibears · 11/03/2017 08:42

Simon! Good solid name that's not overused.

Noah is overused and weak sounding imo. It also sounds like a groany No to my ears.

meettherussians · 11/03/2017 10:06

Noah to me has become like Matilda- a bit of a silly, super trendy, cutsey name that has become dull through overuse. Simon is lovely.

Simon Smile

Wow, there are some rude posters on this thread. I'm not a fan of the name Noah myself but I don't feel the need to be so horrible about it. Confused You do realize that ther chances are that someone will read this thread who has a child called Noah.

harderandharder2breathe · 11/03/2017 18:10

Definitely Noah

But then I've known three simons and not especially liked any of then

CPtart · 11/03/2017 18:33

Simon. In fact anything but Noah. It sounds like a strained protest! Detest it.

Kittykatmacbill · 11/03/2017 18:33

Simon, there are billion babynoahs.

dementedma · 11/03/2017 18:43

I wanted the name Simon for Ds but dh didnt like it. It's my favourite boy's name.

triskele · 11/03/2017 18:47

Simon. There are 4 Noahs at ds's tiny nursery!

RuthB4 · 11/03/2017 18:56

Simon! It's what I'm calling my baby if it's a boy (team yellow).... second thoughts, call your baby Noah! I want to keep the name Simon to myself!! Hee hee! WinkGrin

Simon for me. Noah is very fashionable at the moment, nothing wrong with it though

Ooh, it's been quite restrained and polite you know. You obviously haven't read some of the other name threads Grin

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 11/03/2017 19:26

Noah

brightnearly · 11/03/2017 19:27

Simeon!

SugarBlossom92 · 11/03/2017 19:27

Noah

ArriettyClock1 · 11/03/2017 19:27

Although Noah is a fab name - I would be averse to using it as it's just too popular.

Simon is awful! Too 70s to me, like Gary or Steve or Paul. Not ready for a revival.

celtiethree · 11/03/2017 19:29

Pls pls not Simon. I immediately think simple Simon met a pieman or Simon says.
