Help me name my new addition!

[CeriBerry]

So it was my birthday today and I got the best present ever- a tortoise! But she needs a name! She's a lovely little thing. Anyone got any suggestions? She's obviously arrived on St David's Day and we are Welsh but she's not a Davina! I love literature so literary names could work too! Sorry she's not an actual baby but thought I could trust you lot to come up with some suggestions!

Michelle.

I have 2.. Olive and Esmeralda. They are fab creatures. As it was St David's day how about Blodwyn?!

Meleri was St David's grandmother apparently. That's a pretty name. Or Non was his mother.

Or how about Owena, Sian, or Rhonwen?

Duffy!

I hear "Welsh", I see Duffy.

Gwyneth

Daffodil !

Daffy (daffodils)

Dh had a Jo for over 40 years and she was a lot older than that.

Myfanwy

Shelby
I do like the suggestion of Blodwyn ! 😄

Awwwww. Is it a baby one. Can we see a picture.
I like the suggestion of Shelby or Michelle.

Tortoise McTortoiseFace?

Hattie
Daphne
Stella
Ethel
Tess
Zelda
Tortellini
Speedy
Cassie
Alice

Jonquil.

It is a species of Daffodil to give a nod to St David's.

Wont be many others either.

Most tortoise will probably have corny names!

I like Shelly (get it? )

Voldetort
Bonnie
Clyde
Ermintrude
Hermit
Keith
Thor

Love Blodwen!

Mabli, Branwen, Dilys, Menna, Myfawny (Myfi), Trysor

Voldetort

Or Torticia?

Quite like Shelly! How about Sheldon or Shelby?

Some more random suggestions:

Alfie (the little tortoise from Esio Trot)
Master Oogway (from Kung Fu Panda)
Speedy
Tortellini
Turbo

Delilah

I had a tortoise as a child called Henrietta

I vote for Bronwyn - does he/she have a white underside?

If you like your Welsh mythology Ceridwen or Yseult or Guinevere.

Or Caitlin after Dylan Thomas' wife.

For some reason I like the idea of a tortoise called Barbara.
