Yes from Poland.

I love Zuzanna, with Zuza for short. Not sure how you would pronounce Alicja.

1. Aleksandra (love this - very strong and elegant with lots of nickname potential)
2. Alisja (very pretty)
3. Zuzanna (pretty, but not as nice as the other two to me)

All of them are very pretty names, but my favourite is Zuzanna.

All lovely names but if you live in the UK, Alicja will probably be pronounced wrong by most people. Aleksandra will be the easiest for non-Polish speakers, followed by Zuzanna. I think I like Zuzanna best.

They are all very lovely names, but I think you should consider that if you go for Zuzanna, and then potentially shorten to Zuzia, this doesn't sound as good in English. Aleksandra is my favourite, however.

I just assumed Alicja was similar to Alicia. I'm probably wrong in that assumption!

I knew a Polish Alicja years ago and I thought it was pronounced the same as the English version of Alicia (Al-iss-ee-ya, or Al-iss-ya). Reason I'm not sure is she was always known as Ala (short version in Poland I presume). It's a pretty name. Zuzanna is lovely too. Aleksandra would be my third choice, but still nice.

Nope, Al-ee-sha pronunciation is American, that has caught on here in recent years.

I love Aleksandra with this spelling.

Other Polish names I love are Magdalena, Katarzyna or just Kasia, and Zosia.

Aleksandra looks much harsher than the Alexandra spelling, but it is a ballsy name and I like that.

Alicja- I like this. Not when it has the American 'eesha' sound at the end. Al-itz-ya is very nice.

I went on a school exchange to Bydgoszcz when I was 18 and stayed with a girl called Joanna who went by Asia - which I really liked too.

I like all three! In order of preference I'd choose Alicja, Aleksandra then Zuzanna.
