I'm 37 weeks and in a bit of a panic about baby names.

We were totally in love with the name Pippa.... then found out it translates as something rude 😩in a lot of other countries. I still love the name, but can't bring myself to use it.

We are really disappointed and are totally stuck on names. Current contenders are:

Nina
Matilda
Ida
Beatrice
Margot

But we haven't got the same "Pippa" love for any of them. Any opinions or retro names suggestions are very much welcome. For some reason I feel like I can't bring her into the world nameless! Very stressed!

Middle name will be Sue after my mum x

But also agree, Pippa is lovely and if you LOVE it, then go for it. Take any name- if you do enough digging/obsessing/looking at from every possible angle/nationality, there will always be something negative. Far too much emphasis put on all of this.

Go with Pippa.
Or Philippa Sue. You can sing that Beautiful South song then...
