We are thinking of Brodie (or Brody) for our baby. It's a traditional Scottish name (and we are Scottish). People took the name after an area called Brodie (and there's a Castle Brodie still standing). It means either ditch or fortified wall which sounds better! I don't know a single Brodie or Brody, nor have I heard of any but it may be much more popular in other parts of the country.
Saying all that I suggested it after Chief Brody in Jaws (rather jokingly) as that's our favourite film.
I wouldn't have put Dylan on my list as we're wanting to stick with something traditionally Scottish but it's a nice name.
Go with either. Or have one as a middle name?
