Is Sheila cute or too old fashioned?

Was my lovely mum's name and would love to use it but wonder if it is too marmite a name? Any thoughts?

It doesn't matter what we think. If its to honor your lovely mum. I think you should definitely use it.
For the record. I think the idea of a baby Sheila sounds really cute.

A tiny number of babies registered named Sheila each year. I don't know if it's ready for mainstream comeback, it's not high fashion at the moment, but it's not a bad name by any means and is your choice, ultimately.

Is Celia too different? Sheila is the Irish version, apparently, in a roundabout way anyway.

Very cute name, and not too popular, definitely use it! There are so many "fashionable" names that are over used now and its getting boring!
