Leila

lazydog · 04/01/2017 03:21

Leila. Not keen on the other two.

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 04/01/2017 03:25

Lila
Leila
Lara

myoriginal3 · 04/01/2017 03:31

How are you pronouncing Leila

Popskipiekin · 04/01/2017 03:59

Layla instead of Leila? I think it looks prettier.
Otherwise Lara.
Or what about Laura, actually?

beardotdo · 04/01/2017 11:03

Lila, but much prefer it spelt Lyla.

1horatio · 04/01/2017 11:05

Lara.

But I really like Laila?

I pronounce Lila as Leela although with a rather shortened ee sound (its also the colour Lilac in my local language). Wouldn't like it pronounced ly-la.

Bananalanacake · 04/01/2017 13:55

Lars is actually a boys name popular in Denmark.
Leila is my middle name.
Can you guess my DD's name Grin

laylabelle · 04/01/2017 22:43

Leila Grin
do like lara as well

throwingpebbles · 04/01/2017 22:46

Leila (pronounced lay-lah)
Then Lara
Not at all keen on Lila. Sounds quite harsh.

JamMakingWannaBe · 22/02/2017 22:28

Lana
Leila I would pronounce as Lee-la as in Sheila, Keira. I'm not sure what you're going for.
Lara reminds me of Lara Croft
Lila makes me think of sanitary products!

KoalaDownUnder · 23/02/2017 14:43
  1. Leila, if it's pronounced Layla
  2. Lila
  3. Lara - do not like at all
queenc81 · 23/02/2017 15:14

Leila is my favourite.

My dd is named Leila (pronounced phonically) after a lady I use to look after. X

JunebabyT · 23/02/2017 19:44

Lara

I wanted this for our DD except it doesn't work with our surname. It's always been one of my favourites.

BasicBetty · 24/02/2017 14:49

Lara is my favourite.

Lila is nice too. But I'm not keen on Leila/Layla.

MarjorySunshineDust · 24/02/2017 14:57

Lara. Chose it for my dd Smile

Bluntness100 · 24/02/2017 14:58

Lara, I love that name and was going to call my daughter it, but my husband strongly objected due to the cricketer Brian Lara and he couldn't get the connection out is head 😂😂😂

Rockaby · 24/02/2017 21:10
  1. Lila
  2. Lara
  3. Leila
Pemba · 25/02/2017 18:16
  1. Lila pronounced Ly-la. You could also consider adding an 'h' at the end - LIlah.
  2. Equally Lara and Leila.

They are all really nice names, though.
