Not Darcie. It's so popular where I live I know more Darcie/Darcy/Darcey /Darcee's than Olivia or Amelia

Darcie is awful.

Why are people saying Neve isn't even a name? It's my mothers maiden name pronounced N-eve. Or it can be a name pronounced Nev as in the actress. So it certainly is a name.

Also Neve is a traditional Spanish name - it's not just an Irish name.

Having said that can't remember the traditional Spanish spelling - but it's much more phonetically obvious for English speakers than the traditional Irish version.

I used to know somebody called Neve who got very fed up of people lecturing her about how her Irish name had been wrongly spelt and were then very indignant when she dared to point out that actually her name was Spanish (her parents had links to Spain) and it was correctly spelt in Spanish!

Ive got a Niamh who is a teenager and wishes i had spelt her name Neve instead as she has spent her life being called Niam, Niamph? Nyam. She hates her name.
