Can I use this spelling? It's my favourite way, but will people assume boy?

It really doesn't matter.

Darcy has become a girls' name now, people are no longer giving it to boys, and so you can use whichever spelling you like. People will assume 'girl'.

Love it! Although slightly biased as I have a Darcey Smile
It has become quite popular this year I read, jumping about 20 odd places in the top 100 - but that is for the spelling Darcie (I think)

I like it. I've met a couple of baby Darcies. Cute name but one that also works for a grown up,

I know several Darcy/Darceys including a dog. I don't like it. It's ok for Darcie Bussell as she's lovely but other than that it sounds too much like Arsey.
