Granny chic:
Maude is a really ugly name. Awful. Don't do it.
Evelyn is gorgeous. Best of the bunch.

80s Babies (these all feel a bit dated):
Shanice sounds like one of the Sugababes or something.
Lauren is boooring. I went to school with hundreds of them.
I've always liked Rachel.
Prefer Jenna to Jemma.
Carly- now I like this, but I have a feeling she hangs out with Gavins and Kevins and Waynes.

Aisha- nice if you have the right heritage, but I've met lots of grown women with this name, so it makes me wonder if it's dated in Islamic circles, too.

I went to school with a Shanice. Lovely girl. But I always thought she wrote her name as Jeanice... but I may be wrong.
