Love Caspian. Literary connection without sounding OTT. Great name.

UnicornPee · 11/12/2016 10:50

Caspian is a pizza chain in Carlisle

A failing one

Sophronia · 11/12/2016 11:28

I think it's a bit OTT

neonrainbow · 11/12/2016 11:29

Narnia.

AsthmaAndAutism · 11/12/2016 11:36

I have a Casper Wink I love it, it suits him so much. And most people we've haven't made the obvious connection the ghost! (Although we did dress him up as one for Halloween!)

KoalaDownUnder · 11/12/2016 14:35

Caspian is like Lucien or Fabian or Julian. Just a bit 'too much'. Almost frilly.

Caspar/Casper is cool.

EssentialHummus · 11/12/2016 14:56

I think "... Sea".

I prefer Casper/Caspar.

WhiteHairReally · 11/12/2016 16:00

This might not be an answer to the question you asked, but if the Narnian connection is significant, there are the more mainstream Peter Edmund or Eustace?
Tempted to get the books down and go trawling but I should be doing other things.

I love it, been thinking about it as I love Narnia, but not brave enough to use it! I also love Caspar but don't think I'm brave enough for that either!

sj257 · 11/12/2016 20:42

White, I've also been thinking Edmund!

KlingybunFistelvase · 11/12/2016 20:53

Nice, but I also prefer Caspar. Not at all keen on Edmund.

FaFoutis · 11/12/2016 20:55

Lovely.

Inthenick · 11/12/2016 20:58

People will always have a preconception of him and it's not a flattering one in my opinion.

BingBongBam · 11/12/2016 21:09

I love it.

I like it as a middle name rather than a first

MrsBlennerhassett · 12/12/2016 01:45

thats lovely! very romantic name

Jooni · 12/12/2016 17:22

Bit too much IMO. I like Caspar/Casper though, or even Cassian feels a bit more wearable to me.
