Help!!

Getting so confused now and can no longer even decide if I actually like what I think I like (if that even makes sense, just herring name stress now) so comments welcome on the below names:

Ada
Alice
Edith
Elena
Emma
Frances
Francesca
Hazel
Julia
Margaret
Maria
Martha
May
Nora
Pearl
Rosa
Ruth
Valerie
Violet

Any alternatives welcome as most of them probably fall under the same style. Don't want anything super popular but at the same time don't want super unusual either.

Managed to short list to Edith, Ada and May (my fav is Edith) and OH was happy for a couple of weeks but now OH is having second thoughts on them all!!

I'm sure its obvious I like short, 'older' names that aren't too girly.

OH changed his mind all the time, one he liked is Ellie but I'm not a fan at all, he also likes Annabelle but I'm not keen.

Starting to panic now, 3 weeks to go!!

My favourites:

Emma - timeless, strong and quite unusual now
Frances - simple and sophisticated and I thinik Frankie is super-cute as a nn
Julia - beautiful and classy
Margaret - gorgeous classic name and you get a ton of nickname options to choose from: Maggie, Meg, Peggy, Margot, Daisy...
Martha - nice vintage name, very on-trend
Nora - ditto
Rosa - very understated but pretty
Ruth - strong and would be so adorbale on a little one!
Violet - quite trendy but I think it's a fab name, feminine but not too girly

I like Annabelle...

What about Anna? Clara? Lara? Lana? Eline? Anya? Rose? (I personally love Rose) Nola? Ann? Ida? Nina? Maya? (Just thinking of short names)

My favourites of your list are Alice, Rosa, Maria and Mae. I also really like Nora.

My name and both my DDs names are on your original shortlist.
Our other names on our shortlist were:
Cora
Claudia
Astrid
Imogen
Serafina

I love Celeste/Celestine too, but it clashes with our surname. Cressida is my fantasy girl name but wasnt brave enough to use it.

I love Margaret! Elegant on its own and so many fun nicknames (Molly, Meg, Peggy, Margo. ..) I also really like Emma, Edith, Martha and Frances.
I'm not keen on Nora or Valerie.

Of your list, I like Alice, (timeless, pretty) Francesca (strong, feminine) and Hazel (slightly more unusual and a pretty name that isn't too cutesy).

Not keen on Edith, which sounds harsh, or Nora (Batty). Valerie...hmmm, no... 'Val' jet doesn't have that 'granny chic' ring to it that Violet or Aa have. Emma is still about 10 girls in my year at school in the 80s.

Mary
Cora
Rosa
Lydia
Lucille
Lois
Lillian
Stella
Nina
Sylvia
Thora
Thelma
