1. Arianna, Sophia and Rosalie - very beautiful names, love them

2. Annabelle, Iona, Anya and Lara - nice, classic names

3. Pearl - hate it, makes me think of Tampax and mussels

Rosalie
Lara
Sophia

Lara definitely the nicest. Gorgeous name.

Second I'd pick Sophia then probably Rosalie.

Sophia, Lara, Arianna

Sophia and Lara are on our list of potential names for dc2, I think they are beautiful

1. Pearl
2. Rosalie
3. Lara
4. Annabel (with one 'l')
5. Sophia

Not keen on others.

I LOVE Pearl. Not keen on the others.

Annabelle - like the symmetry of this spelling
Iona

Not pearl!

Sophia and Anya are prettiest.
Not keen on any of the others and especially not Pearl which is frumpy and definitely not 'classy' as someone stated previously.

Anya

Lara

Sophia (but I know loads of them, so wildly popular)

Iona - Sophia - Anya

Pearl is dreadful

I love ranking names!
*
Favourite three are:*

1. Sophia - popular but that's because it's gorgeous
2. Iona - another ultra pretty name & one to suit her as she grows into a woman
3. Arianna - may be a few more about with the growing popularity of Arianna Grande. Who cares! The name is delightful

Close in the running are:

1. Lara
2. Anya
3. Rosalie

* Do not like:*

1. Annabelle

* Really really do not like:*

1. Pearl

The only one I like is Lara.

The world does not need another Sophia. If you threw a stick you'd hit a Sophia. They are everywhere!

Top 3:

1. Iona
2. Sophia
3. Tied between Lara and Anya

Thanks all.
Will have to recount
I love Sophia and my other two have popular names (one was around 50 when I chose it but shot up to top ten in a couple years), so I'm not sure if deliberately avoid a popular name again.
It's been on my list for the last 7 years but I've not had the chance to use!

My DC are lobbying for Lara, so that will likely be the middle name I think.

I really like Anya and Iona too...Iona Lara sounds like 'I own a Lada' though.

Re Annabelle I love how this looks written too, and if she called herself Belle I think that looks nicer than Bel. So I'd prob go against Mumsnet and stick to the frilly spelling!
