Common Girls Names from late 90s/early 00s??

princesshaley · 22/11/2016 14:24

I've really been drawn to names from the late 90s/early 00s lists lately (think like 1996-2004), but I'm looking for some suggestions on names I should consider.

The list so far is;

Bethan
Martha
Tilly
Rhiannon
Maisie
Rosie
Daisy
Hollie
Molly/Mollie
Katie
Lauren
Morgan

What would you add to the list?
Thank you!

Jade is a name that seemed to be really popular back then, but I haven't heard of a baby being named that for ages.

Gruffalosfriend · 22/11/2016 14:50

Why don't you have a look at the ONS lists of top names for those years?

princesshaley · 22/11/2016 15:01

@gruffalosfriend I have checked those, but I was looking more for names that others found were common then - certain areas have different popular names and the ONS doesn't show that. I know a plethora of Brogans and Bronwyn(ne)s but neither name was terribly popular back in the 90s.

Thank you for the suggestions!

I really like Chloe, Erin, Freya, Megan, Ellie, Gemma, Laura, Lucy, Rebecca, Sophie, Jemima, Scarlett, Millie, Hannah, Harriet, Ella, Ruby, Lily, Amber, Niamh, Jasmin, Yasmin, Natasha and Zoe.
