Rare girls names that aren't too 'crazy'

Just as the title says really...looking for an unusual/rare girls name that isn't too unusual if that makes sense!

Only name we like and can agree on is Jessica/Jessie. I quite like names like Bethany, Ebony, Emma and Hannah that I think of as recognisable but aren't that commonly used. DP prefers top 10 names but I would prefer something not as common. DS is Elliott so would like it to sound nice when said with his name.

I really like Jessica, but if you want something more unusual Jessamine or Jessamyn are gorgeous and quite unusual. You can also get Jessie from them obviously. Or Jessamy, as a pp suggested.

I like Jessica

Oopsypoopsy · 20/11/2016 11:07

I have a few from the list that I didn't use for my daughter; Willow, Paige, Doris, Eden, Whinnie and Astor (it's a kind of flower, people ruined it for me by thinking I said Asda! Just wish I never told anybody!)

Loafingaround · 20/11/2016 11:09

Jessica might be very popular but it still sounds unique in its timeless prettiness without being overly twee to me, love it.

Sosidges · 20/11/2016 11:12

Otillie, she I the heroine in a book I was reading. I wanted to have another daughter just so that I could use the name
