Thanks v much.

Nina.

Honeybee79 · 30/10/2016 21:40

I do like the name Pearl but it just doesn't work at all with our surname so was ruled out v early on.

Iris ftw! Beautiful. Nina is ok too

paddypants13 · 30/10/2016 21:49

I like both names but I think Iris sounds nicer with the middle name Hope.

Nina is definitely the more unusual of the two though. ( I mean that in a good way!)

Cosmicglitterghoul · 30/10/2016 21:58

And I actually have an Iris! I think Nina goes better with Sid.

Coey2016 · 30/10/2016 22:44

Nina. Love it.

AppleCanoe · 30/10/2016 23:36

100% Nina. Love it.

Buntysoven · 31/10/2016 00:17

Iris! More elegant

Cluesue · 31/10/2016 00:27

Was going to say Nina until someone mentioned ambulance and now all I hear is nee naa nee naa.
Iris is lovely.

Foxtato · 31/10/2016 01:25

Iris is lovely with Sidney.

Motherfuckers · 31/10/2016 02:15

I like Iris, but think Nina is a little less used. I know loads of little girls called Iris.

taxiforme · 31/10/2016 02:29

Nina. Iris is pretty but less strong.
Sid and Nina sounds very cool and retro.
It's the kind of name I wanted when I was growing up in the 70's, like Stella, Etta and Farrah.

Mol1628 · 31/10/2016 02:43

Nina

Hooleywhipper · 31/10/2016 02:43

Iris is beautiful .

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 31/10/2016 04:17

Nina. I find Iris rather harsh sounding, but I may be influenced by my aunt who wasn't a very pleasant woman. She's the only Iris I've ever had contact with.

user1477282676 · 31/10/2016 04:27

Iris. It's just prettier to me. Nina is nice though...and I've not met one.

Nina Hope does sound a bit like No Hope..

Initials- N. Hope.

A vote for Nina here.

Lutrine · 31/10/2016 20:12

I love them both, but would go for Iris if I had to choose. Love the Goo Goo Dolls song of that name and the flowers!

Honeybee79 · 31/10/2016 22:18

Lutrine - yes, also love the Goo Goo Dolls song Iris . . .

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Nina goes better with Sid. I have a friend called Nina & she's one of the nicest, most trustworthy people I know. If you call your baby Nina & she's half as wonderful as my friend, you'll be one lucky mummySmile

SorenaJ · 01/11/2016 14:27

I prefer Nina

DoYouRememberJustinBobby · 01/11/2016 16:00

namechange7711 · 01/11/2016 17:58
