Hi I'm so unsure. I've read so many baby name books and there's nothing. We have a son named Vincent Michael, who we enjoy using both names for! So would like something that flows.

Thanks everyone

Ivy was the first thing that came to my mind. Has the same vibe as Vincent.

Also Ava, Mabel, Tabitha, Lois.

What do you think you'll go with?

QOD · 02/10/2016 20:10

Violet Elizabeth Bott

V and V is fine imho

user1471461436 · 02/10/2016 20:12

What about olivia/olive? Most of the same letters as violet. Or harriet? A similar sound to violet but without the 'v'. Harriet kate sounds lovely

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 02/10/2016 20:31

Harriet is a beautiful name.

Flossierules · 02/10/2016 20:49

Yes Harriet is beautiful and goes well with Vincent.

3luckystars · 02/10/2016 20:53

Call her Violet if that's what you like and don't give it a second thought. Maybe thats the one you love but are afraid to use, so no other name can feel right. Go with it!

AriettaLovesXitiePie · 02/10/2016 23:13

SugarPie Just had to say, I love Elspeth! Never heard of it before but it's lovely :)

thehugemanatee · 02/10/2016 23:16

Harriet Kate is really nice.

ShmooBooMoo · 03/10/2016 03:52

Elodie Kate
Harriet Kate
Serena violet

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 03/10/2016 06:43

Yes Arietta, if only I'd had the chance to use it ! 😄😀

Loafingaround · 03/10/2016 08:28

OP are you stopping at 2 DC? As think 2 DC with same initial is fine but if anymore becomes bit silly, so Violet would be lovely.

if not similar, obvious flower names-

Lily
Poppy
Iris
Willow (this would go beautifully)
Daisy

Or
Grace
Elsa
Ida
Eva
Astrid
Anya (again think this would go beautifully with Vincent!)

Mumoftwoyoungkids · 03/10/2016 08:39

Best advise I can give is to not panic. You have six weeks. We "panic named" ds ("we have this lovely baby and we don't have a name for him and everyone is going to think that we don't love him" sob sob sob) and I do sort of regret it. (Although his name is a nice name and is very much "him" now.)

BATHMATNZ · 03/10/2016 14:01

Nina Meadow

ViolettaValery · 03/10/2016 21:06

I love Violet (obviously!) and the other name I really love is Sylvia, so it must be something about the V. On that basis...

Sylvia Kate
Elvira Kate
Eva/Ava Kate
Flavia Kate (hm altho is Vincent and Flavia too Strictly?!)
Ivy Kate
Livia Kate
Lavinia Kate
Lavender Kate
Evelina Kate

sopsmum · 03/10/2016 21:08

Ebony grace

ViolettaValery · 03/10/2016 21:13

Well done on Vincent Michael by the way, great name! So I think you'll know the right one when you see it.

Wandastartup · 03/10/2016 21:26

AbernathysFringe · 03/10/2016 22:45

Without reading the thread at all, just picking two random names that go with your son's...
