My surname is very similar to Teasmaid but I love the name Tessa for this next baby if it turns out to be a girl.

Is Tessa Teasmaid too much? I'm not sure about the double T. Elizabeth would be a possible middle name.

it sounds nice but dont the initials make Titty?

MrsBellefleur · 22/09/2016 08:38

Initials would possibly be TET if we went with the name.

I think it sounds nice. I quite like names where the first name and surname have the same initial. It doesn't work in every case but in yours it does. I wouldn't worry too much about what saying the initials sounds like because people don't call each other by their initials so I don't think that's important.

I wouldn't. Though I don't like alliteration with names (one of my rules!).

NataliaOsipova · 22/09/2016 08:43

I think it's okay. Know what you mean about the double T, but 'Tes' and 'Tea' are quite different sounds, so it doesn't rhyme or sound peculiar.

Belle, Tess Testerossa would be too much, Tess Teasmade is cute.
Use the name, it's beautiful. 😄

Some people like alliteration in names, others don't. Some have no strong feelings on it (such as me)!

As long as her first name doesn't begin with an I, I see no problem.

My dad and brother are both J.?.J. and never seemed to have any issue with it.
