Edward, Thomas or Frederick are adult names. The people may choose to be known as Ed/Eddie/Ted/Teddie or Tom/Tommy or Fred/Freddy but they have the option of their full name.

Teddy, Tommy and Freddy are little boy names. Fine until they're about 12.

Tommy unfortunately has a bit of a "being sent off to die" overtone, I think. Confused

Teddy or Freddy. I really dislike Tommy for no real reason.

I personally don't like any of them.
I'd go for Tommy though out of all three as Freddy and Teddy are both becoming very popular.

Tom would be a nice shortening of Tommy.
